Fashion Talk | Fashion Cloning – Predictive Programming?
Call me an over-analyzer if you like, but I look at a lot of fashion. Particularly that which is on the runway, and my focus is one of a global perspective. I have always found it fascinating that New York fashion trends are similar to Paris and Milan. Naturally we […]
Fashion Talk | 2018 and Our Emerging Individuality
Wow, what a year for fashion! 2018 was all about embracing our unique differences, and fashion followed suit and dutifully transformed to the needs of consumers. “The customer is the final filter. What survives the whole process is what people wear. I’m not interested in making clothes that end up […]

Fashion Talk | Chasing Trends Is Tricky Business
We must consider a few things before buying clothes. Just because Nikki Minaj is spotted wearing an haute couture costume, doesn’t mean you should be wearing that monstrosity to work, or school, or while mowing the lawn. First of all, let’s say that you’re pear-shaped. You like the look of Audrey Hepburn in tight-fitted leggings and a matching turtleneck. Okay . . . so you have classic fashion sensibilities—but do those sensibilities help or hurt your overall look? Ask yourself the question, “Will Audrey’s outfit look as good on my frame as it does on hers?” If you have junk in your trunk and are a D-cup, chances are those cute capris and fitted ribbed shirt are going to pick a fight with your décolletage.

Fashion Talk | Functional and Fashionable Flute Accessories by Andrea “Fluter Scooter” Fisher
I have been playing the flute my whole life (since I was nine) and I realized I never gave it a second thought to use anything other than the original case my flute(s) had come in. How could I have not investigated the options of fashionable, functional flute bags—even musicians should have a bit of pizzazz when it comes to their gear. Andrea Fisher’s designs range from eye-popping to subtle to “blingy!” These flute bags are gorgeous, and I intend to show mine off at my very next performance.
Fashion Talk | Lybethras Swimwear – Brazilian Swimsuits for the Woman of All Seasons
It was popular last season and it is popular now. Vintage looks never really leave the runway and they are perpetually in style. I know summer is technically over, but we all travel and if you’re planning to cross borders and go to the equator or some other tropical, exotic […]
Fashion Talk | Your Style: It’s a Personal Choice (Inspired by Karl Lagerfeld)
Let’s talk about personal style. I was on an airplane for 12 hours just last week, and as I loaded my carryon above my seat, I looked around and noticed all the different fashion worn on the plane. The very opposite hair colors, tattoos, jeans, flip-flops, boots, and handbags were so interesting. […]
