We are well into Autumn, which means an onslaught of the typical ‘seasonal’ fragrances: spice, earth, woods, and resin. The fragrance company FVITH was never one to wait for the perfect time to release a scent, but their lineup of mysterious smoky blends fit beautifully with the season… and perhaps our overall mood for 2020.
FVITH was born in Los Angeles – the product of a brother/sister duo who grew up inhaling some of the most iconic scents associated with the area. Warm rose, night blooming jasmine, dark woods and incense permeate nearly every unique blend. Each fragrance might be described a visual blend of shadows, with only the slightest shards of light peeking through; suffice to say they are not for the faint of heart. If you’re a fan of light florals and bright citrus, feel free scroll on by.
From the appropriately named ‘October’ to the incense-heavy realness of ‘Vatican’ – each blend successfully invokes a specific mood. Couple that with an incredible burn time and scent throw, and FVITH has easily conjured up the recipe for fragrant success. Our only advice is to read the description of the notes first: because if you think ‘Black Rose’ will smell like roses . . . think again. But if you’re attracted to dark, smoky, sexy scents… your biggest challenge with FVITH will likely be to pick a favorite.
