We set out to “test the best” over 30 days to determine whether some of the top skin care products on the market truly lived up to their promises. For this particular endeavor, we chose a day cream and a night cream. Two products rose to the top of the list, so we put them to the test to see how they performed over 30 days.

Tammy Fender Antioxidant Crème – Neroli & Orange

We fell head over heels in love with this cream from the very first application. The texture is unlike any cream we’ve ever tried. It’s a bit “gummy” and really sticks to the skin. The smallest amount produces a distinct sheen, which leads us to believe that it would be perfect for normal to dry skin types.

“This multi-vitamin-in-a-jar is prized for its nourishing, anti-oxidant and collagen-stimulating benefits. Neroli helps heal scar tissue, improve elasticity and balance overactive sebum. Calming and grounding, sweet orange enhances the skin’s immunity and hydration while plant butters moisturize and naturally filter UV light.”

.We used this cream every day for 30 days and found that it actually brightened our overall complexion. Despite the rich texture of this cream, it did not clog our pores or make our skin feel “greasy.” A small amount went a long way. After 30 days, ¾ of the product still remained.

Overall, we found that this cream performed well beyond expectations. The small amount required to get the job done makes up for the product size (1.7 ounces), and justifies the price.

LAFACE Laboratories set out to create a cozy collection of skin care products, to meet the anti-aging needs of all skin types. If the collection is a treasure, the Cellular Regeneration Cream is most certainly the crown jewel. Consider this the ultimate multi-tasker: This rich, non-greasy formula literally “healed” our skin of common complaints like acne scarring and minor irritations, over a 30-day period.

“This exquisite and luxurious cream is scientifically formulated using a unique combination of active ingredients. Using the skin-protecting power of rare Swiss apple stem cells, (it) is the ultimate anti-aging moisturizer that delivers intense hydration, lift and vitality.”

One of the unique perks about this product is that all of its scientific claims are posted on the company website. The company owner, Lisa Alexander, is literally an “open book” regarding her mission (to beautify the world with exceptional skin care), and her product’s ingredients and performance expectations.

It’s also worth noting that this cream plays well with others. Used in conjunction with serums and oils, it appears to boost the performance of the other items. We tend to “layer” our skin care, and it was refreshing to find a cream that helped other products to absorb quickly and get to work.

All of the LAFACE products meet luxury grade expectations, but the Cellular Regeneration Cream particularly exceeds all requirements for true luxury skin care. In fact, it’s fair to say that this cream could become a permanent staple in our skin care regimen. It’s that good.
