Altuzarra During New York Fashion Week – A Classy and Edgy Spring 2012 Collection
By Kaylene Peoples | October 17th, 2011 | Category: Articles, Interviews and Reviews, Fashion, Runway | 1 Comment »During New York Fashion Week on September 10, Designer Joseph Altuzarra created a classy, yet edgy, sophisticated, yet futuristic collection, which defined his Spring 2012 line. The vivid colors, ranging from vibrant greens, bold yellows, striking whites, blacks, and prints, colored a variety of styles. The standouts were the white trench and black netted leather dress; dresses paired with leather jackets; vinyl pants; quilted sets; over-sized sweaters; nice knits, and sporty and playful prints, ranging from the ever too familiar Hawaiian theme (this season) to athletic accents. Other notables were parachute straps worn over a sleeveless dress, backless vests, hooded coats, and trousers with racing stripes.
