Rebecca Taylor’s Fall 2011 Collection – Cozy Everyday Clothing with a Bohemian Flair
By Kaylene Peoples | February 14th, 2011 | Category: Articles, Interviews and Reviews, Fashion, Runway | 1 Comment »Rebecca Taylor’s Fall 2011 Collection offered an array of warm, stylish yet comfortable autumn/winter looks for women for a variety of occasions, including the workplace. The cozy collection had a nice combination of hand-knitted sweaters, tweed cropped jackets, coats with fur, silk dresses, satin trousers, ruffled and wrap skirts. Prominent fabrics were silk, chiffon, organza, cashmere, and flannel. Styles ranged from over-sized turtlenecks to beaded patched skirts.
Prominent colors were cobalt, fuchsia, turquoise, and magenta, which worked well through the stream of very wearable clothes in this collection. Rebecca Taylor mixed and matched with a bohemian flair that really worked on the runway. Her use of classic styles (some reminiscent of the 80s) included feminine details like tiers of ruffles, and a little bit of sparkle and sheen on her sweaters and dresses.
I love this. Thanks for sharing. Best ever. This is a fantastic writeup.
