Rich I hope you remember me from way back at Media Sound Productions in Riverside. You produced a 3 song demo for me, and remember my good buddy, and your partner Roger surprised us by tearing down the studio one night without any warning while we were still working on the last song, [nice guy], anyway we finished it at your house. It came out real nice. . Anyway I was thinking about you, looked you up on the internet, and was stoked to see how well you are doing. I never forgot what a great guy you were to work with, extremely talented as a producer sound engineer, and musician. On top of being so talented, one heck of a real nice guy, laid back easy going yet very professional.
All of these things made it a great experience for me which I will never forget and thank you for. . I am so glad for how well you are doing these days because I believe you deserve all the success one could possibly achieve. A couple things I want to mention are for one I am interested in having some cds of the demo that you did for me, I remember you saying that you always kept copies because you never know when someone like me will want copies made, so this ought to be a good challenge for you, I remember you stored my demo on a dat tape, hope you can find it. The other thing I wanted to mention to you was concerning some recording equipment that I have. I read about how you have been collecting cool stuff and this stuff I have is pretty cool, rare, maybe one of a kind vintage pro studio recording gear! What I have is the original mono recording gear from RCA Recording Studio Sunset Blvd. Hollywood. It consists of tall metal cabinet with the various rack mounted stuff they were using and the master record cutting lathe. I do not know if you remember that I have always been a collector of antiques and collectibles and quite a horse trader, well I got this stuff from the man that worked at RCA back when they went from mono to stereo. He did the switch for them and somehow ended up with the old mono gear I met him at a yard sale at his house in Riv.,we got to talking, one thing led to another, I had something he wanted more than he wanted that gear so now I have it. I have had it stored in my garage over 20 years now. I am now looking into selling a few things that I have hung on to this being one of them. This has great collector potential as it has probably been used in the production of such famous artist as Buddy Holly, Elvis, etc., just to mention a couple. I am in the process now of trying to find out what fair market value would be on these items. You are one of the first people that I have told about this, I am not sure if you have any interest in adding it to your own collection, but if nothing else maybe you could help me determine what it is actually worth, or know the right people who could, or the right buyer that would pay good money for it. Anyway Rich, I have no problem paying a nice commission to you or someone that can help me find the right buyer and help me find out for sure what all it should be worth. I have been told it could be quite valuable and I know the potential is there to be really good, not much around like this. Any help will be really appreciated and like I said I will be very happy to break you off something good for help with a good sale etc. I guess that is enough said for now, I look forward to hearing from you. .
