The 88th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, featuring Marine Toys for Tots took place on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Eric Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain and Montel Williams headlined as the hosts. Actor/entertainment journalist Mario Lopez and his family rode in the car as Grand Marshals.
A star-studded concert kicked off the evening’s festivities as several pop stars entertained the crowd with special Holiday songs. As I was in front of the stage with my camera, I had the pleasure of photographing these incredible performers.
What a thrill it was to witness legendary Dionne Warwick performing “Jingle Bells” and “What the World Needs Now”—Warwick’s delivery of these two classics took me way back.
The beautiful Shelea styled in “Christmassy” white, while delivering a powerful, soulful performance.
Bret Michaels wore a festive Santa hat while rocking the crowd.
Other musicians who performed were Garry Beers and Toby Rand of Ashen Moon; Mikalah Gordon and Brandon Rogers.
Also performing were David Archuleta, Band of MerryMakers; James Maslow, Ace Young and Diana Degarmo; Bank of Harmony; Phil Vassar, and Brandon Jenner.
The Hollywood Christmas Parade premiered as a two-hour prime-time special on The CW Network on Friday, December 13, 2019, at 8pm, and will be seen on Hallmark Channels throughout the holiday season.
