The 2nd Annual San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival kicked off their fabulous concert on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Embarcadero Marina Park North with a sizzling hot lineup that soared with talent all day long. The dashing and super sonic sax player, Eric Darius hosted the day, as well as the headliner act to that evening. Pat Prescott of 94.7 The WAVE and San Diego’s own radio host Kelly Cole lent their masterful talents that weekend to announce the acts.

A lot of women who have made it up into the upper echelons have become very protective of their space, and they were still reluctant to embrace other women in the industry, but hopefully that is going to change right now. I sympathize with them. I was one of those women who didn’t take sh*t from producers who were hitting on me.
