My last concert was a disaster . . . not musically but fashionably. I have only one go-to outfit that looks halfway decent on me and I am really getting tired of dressing for my weight and body instead of wearing the clothes I love. You see I used to […]

Arting Around | Keiko Matsui and Her New CD ECHO
After I heard Marcus play on this song, I decided to make “Echo” my title track. I also had Jimmy Branly on drums, Jimmy Johnson on bass, and Ramon Stagnano on acoustic guitar. When I heard everyone’s solos, it made me cry. The music was really heartfelt.
Fashion Talk | Fashion Cloning – Predictive Programming?
Call me an over-analyzer if you like, but I look at a lot of fashion. Particularly that which is on the runway, and my focus is one of a global perspective. I have always found it fascinating that New York fashion trends are similar to Paris and Milan. Naturally we […]
Wise Remedies | Refreshing Our Ideals of Health
We KNOW: we must regularly change the oil in our vehicles to keep the engine in good working order. It’s foundational – leave the oil in your car too long, the engine will be damaged. Similarly, If you’ve been roaming this planet for more than 30 years and you’ve not cleansed your body systems, your “car” has never had its “oil changed.”

Wise Remedies | Counting Calories … well THAT doesn’t work
Who’s ready to rid themselves of a widely held, very accepted health/dietary practice that’s …. well, a total waste of time. Most conventional wisdom on the subject of counting calories recommends consuming somewhere between 1200-1500 calories per day if you wish to reduce body weight by one pound per week […]
Fashion Talk | Chasing Trends Is Tricky Business
We must consider a few things before buying clothes. Just because Nikki Minaj is spotted wearing an haute couture costume, doesn’t mean you should be wearing that monstrosity to work, or school, or while mowing the lawn. First of all, let’s say that you’re pear-shaped. You like the look of Audrey Hepburn in tight-fitted leggings and a matching turtleneck. Okay . . . so you have classic fashion sensibilities—but do those sensibilities help or hurt your overall look? Ask yourself the question, “Will Audrey’s outfit look as good on my frame as it does on hers?” If you have junk in your trunk and are a D-cup, chances are those cute capris and fitted ribbed shirt are going to pick a fight with your décolletage.
Wise Remedies | Diet – One Size Does NOT Fit All
Most commonly, the holy grail in the choice of a dietary practice is losing weight. If you have a hard time dropping weight for an extended period of time, weight loss should NOT be your goal. In my experience, people who have been struggling to lose weight over time need to be focusing on what X Factor is overwhelming the body and causing persistent and perhaps continued weight gain. Many times that X Factor is the very dietary practices being utilized. When the inner terrain of the body is somewhat correct (that means it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to not be overwhelmed), the lose of weight happens speedily and with a modicum of ease.
