Audio Books
When you have a busy schedule and can’t find the time to enjoy a good book, look into audio books. As a busy editor/entertainer, I rarely have time to read, unless they’re technical books. But to be able to enjoy a juicy romance novel, or delve into the depths of The Secret, or even brush up on my French, I found total enjoyment with the audio book. I used to fall asleep trying to read; but now I can close my eyes, turn the lights off, relax and enjoy someone else reading to me. Best of all, you can pop the CD in your car or put mp3s in your i-POD and drive to work while enjoying great literature. Audio books are sold in most brick and mortar book stores, and just about anywhere online. Amazon.com and barnesandnobles.com both have an enormous selection to choose from, and they’ll even gift wrap the audio books for you. There are also gadgets you can purchase for just that purpose, like the bukki audio book, or Barnes and Noble’s nook.
